Birth & Early Life
Simran was born on 13th December 1999. As a young girl, she was interested in sports and used to participate in athletic meets in her school. Simran also played cricket with the boys of her neighborhood as a child. Her family was very supportive of her passion. At the age of 16, Simran enrolled in an academy at Punjabi Bagh and trained under Sharvan Kumar. In 2017, she tried for the Delhi U-19 team and got selected. She was also named to the U-23 and senior team.

In 2018, Simran played for the team at the Challengers Trophy. She was brought to the limelight after playing a domestic match against Andhra Pradesh, that year. In 2019, she played for the Indian team in the Asian Cricket Council Women’s Emerging Teams Cup and bagged the trophy. In 2020, Simran was named to the Indian squad for the T20 Quadrangular Series, Patna. In 2021, she received her maiden call-up for the Indian cricket team for the Home Series against South Africa. She made her WT20I debut for India in the same year.
