Career
NFL Drafts
Coward has selected by Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2017. After that on September 2, 2017, he was waived and then added to practice squad on next day. After few months, Coward made his NFL debut against Cincinnati Bengals on December 9, 2017. In that season, he was playing as defensive end during his rookie year, later on his head coach Matt Nagy told that Coward would move to offensive line for next season. In 2019 season, he started 10 games as right guard after the injury of Kyle Long. Coward re-signed for second season and became exclusive rights free agent (ERFA) on April 17, 2020.
On March 30, 2021, Coward signed 1 year contract with Pittsburgh Steelers and after few months he was released by Pittsburgh Steelers on October 9, 2021. After 2-3 days, Coward signed with Jacksonville Jaguars on October 12, 2021 and on October 21, he was released by Jacksonville Jaguars. In next month, Coward was signed with Pittsburgh Steelers for practice squad on November 23. After 1-2 months, he was signed with Atlanta Falcons on January 24, 2022. In next 4-5 months, he was released by Atlanta Falcons on June 2, 2022. Coward was signed with Arizona Cardinals on August 2, 2022 and was waived on August 30 and was again signed to practice squad in next day.
