Career
Tucker was first started his career while playing in Ireland provincial squad. Tucker was selected for Ireland squad for T-20 International match against Hong Kong in August 2016. He made his T-20 International debut against Hong Kong on September 5, 2016. After that, he was called up as replacement of Stuart Thompson (injured) for 2017 Desert T-20 Challenge. Later in 2017, Tucker was selected foe Leinster Lighting team in 2017 Inter-Provincial Cup and made his List A debut on June 4, 2017 against Northern Knights. After List A debut next day, he made his First-Class debut against Northern Knights on June 5, 2017.
Tucker was selected for Ireland squad for Test, T-20 & One Day International (ODI) match against Afghanistan in India in January 2019, but in that tournament, he did not get chance to come on field. After that Tucker was selected for Ireland squad for One Day International (ODI) for one match against England and also selected for 2019 Ireland Tri=Nation Series in April 2019. He made his ODI debut against England on May 3, 2019. Later on Tucker was selected for Euro T-20 Slam cricket tournament, but the tournament was cancelled due to some reason.
Tucker was selected for Ireland squad for 2019 ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the United Arab Emirates. After that, he was selected for Ireland squad for England tour to start training behind closed doors (Spectators are not allowed in stadium) against England on July 10, 2020. Later on in 2021, Tucker was selected for 2021 ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup in September 2021. Now, 2022, he is selected for 2022 ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup.
