Career
Munyonga started his career while playing for Rising Stars. He made his first class debut against Mountaineers on November 12, 2017 in 2017-18 Logan Cup. After that for same team, he also made his debut in List A for Rising Stars against Mashonaland Eagles on April 17, 2018 (2017-18 Pro50 Championship). On his list A debut, he scored 74 runs and in he was selected for player of the series in that tournament. Later, Munyonga was selected in Mashonaland Eagles and made his T-20 tournament debut against Rhinos on March 17, 2019.
After giving performance in domestic matches, Munyonga was selected for Zimbabwe’s squad in One Day International (ODI) format against United Arab Emirates, but he did not get chance to play on field. After that, he was selected for Zimbabwe squad for International in T-20 format for (2019-20 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series) in September 2019. Munyonga made his International debut in T-20 format against Bangladesh on September 13, 2019. In 2022, he was selected for Zimbabwe’s squad for One Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh. He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh on August 7, 2022.
Now, 2022 Munyonga is selected for Zimbabwe squad for 2022 ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup on September 16, 2022.
