Ajeet was born on 5th September 1993 in Uttar Pradesh, India. At the age of 23, he wanted to be a physical education teacher and went on to pursue his Ph.D. degree. In 2017, he suffered a train accident that led to him losing his left hand. Ajeet had to give up his goal. However, with the help of his family, he overcame his trauma and decided to compete in the National Para Athletics Championships in 2018.

Career
In 2019, Ajeet made his international debut at the 7th World Para Athletics Grand Prix, Beijing. He claimed the gold medal in the Javelin throw event. In the same year, Ajeet settled for the bronze medal at the 2019 World Para Athletic Championships, Dubai. This achievement booked him a bench at the Tokyo Paralympics.
