Shrikant was born on 17th September 1995 in Mumbai, India. Growing up in a family of farmers, he had a difficult childhood. His father used to run a small shop to take care of the family’s needs. As a young boy, Shrikant fell in love with Kabaddi after watching the Arjuna Awardee Pankaj Shrisat play. At the age of 16, he represented Maharasthra in the National level competition. His performance earned him a spot in the SAI, Mumbai.

Career
In 2013, Shrikant began his professional career in Kabaddi by representing Vidharba at the national level competition. His impressive performance caught the attention of the Pro Kabaddi League teams. He was then drafted to the Jaipur Pink Panthers for Pro Kabaddi Season 2. In 2016, He was traded to Bengal Warriors for the third season and played for 5 matches. Shrikant continued in the same team for the next season. In 2017, he was a part of the U Mumba for the 5thseason.
He was named one of the best raiders of season 5 after collecting 86 raid points in 19 games. In 2018, Shrikant signed up with UP Yoddha and went on collect 141 raid points in 25 games in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 6. He was the second-best raider in that season. In 2019, he played for the same team in season 7.
