Antoine Griezmann was born on 30th March 1991, in the commune of Macon, France. His father was a town councilor and his mother was a hospital staff member. Friedman began playing with his hometown club at a very young age. Due to his size and lightweight frame he was rejected by many professional clubs. In 2005, Griezmann’s performance in a match against Paris Saint Germaine impressed several clubs. He was later scouted by a notable Spanish club Real Sociedad and began playing for their youth team.

Career
During his initial years in Real Sociedad, Griezmann attended school during the daytime and practiced football in the evenings and weekends. He was a part of the team for 4 years. He made his professional debut in the 2009-10 season. He scored five goals in four appearances. In the same year, he made plays in the Copa del Rey match against Rayo Vallecano. He also made his league debut in the same year on 6th September. In 2010, Antoine signed his first professional contract with the club. He made his debut in the Spanish first division on 29th August. On 23rd February, he was named to France under 19 team to play a match with Ukraine. He made his international debut on 2nd March.
