Subedar Amit Panghal is a Indian Army Junior Commissioned officer and boxer who lives in Mayna Village, Rohtak district, Haryana. He represented India in 2017, Asian Championship where he won his first Bronze medal. Birth & Early Life
Amit Panghal was born on 16 October 1995 in Mayna, Village, Rohtak District, Haryana. Amit started his practicing of boxing at the age 12 in the academy in Rohak. His brother, Ajay Panghal is also a state level boxing player while seeing his brother he was inspired to become boxer. Amit father, Vijender Singh panghal is a farmer. His family did not have much that two child cannot afford to train, they can only afford one child for boxing training. Amit’s brother gave up his training of boxing, and encourage Amit to join the training of boxing.

Career
Amit Started his career from his first national match in 2017 in that match he won his first gold medal. After that he continued his practicing and, then he was part of Asian Boxing Championship and won bronze medal. He won silver medal at Commonwealth Games 2018. In 2019, Asian Championships (flyweight) he won the gold medal by beating Kim In Kyu of South Korea held at Indoor Stadium Huamark in Thailand . After that he took rest in 2020 and then he was the part of 2021, Asian Championships (Flyweight) where he won silver medal for India. Now, 2022 he is the part of Commonwealth Games.
