Sri Krishna Priya Kudaravalli was born on 28th October 1997 in Hyderabad. She became interested in badminton at a young age watching her friends going for practice. She neither had a sports background nor a role model, to begin with. The 10-year-old Krishna Priya asked her father to get her admitted to a badminton coaching class. She began her training with Mohd. Ali at the stadium in Kukatpally. At the age of 13, she shifted to Fateh Maidan Indoor Stadium and was coached by SM Arif.

Career
In September 2013, Krishna Priya qualified for the Sushant Chipalkatti Memorial Indian Junior International Badminton Championship 2013. She started training at Gopichand Academy. She also competed in the 2015 edition.
Sri Krishna Priya played in the Yonex Dutch Junoir 2015 and Yonex German Junior 2015. The Telangana shuttler represented India at the Asia Junior Championships in 2015 and even won around. In 2016, the Hyderabad shuttler qualified for the White Nights 2016 Women’s Singles. She also qualified for Grand Prix Gold SCCG Thailand Open 2016. In November 2016, She bagged the bronze medal in the SATS India International Series.
She lost in the semi-finals against Gadde Ruthvika Shivani. In the same year, she played in the Tata Open India International Challenge 2016. In the 2017 Syed Modi International Badminton Championships Women’s Single, She lost in the quarterfinal match against Indonesia’s Hanna Ramadi. She claimed the silver medal in FZ Forza Kharkiv International 2017 In September 2017. She lost to Natalya Voytsekh in the Finals. In 2018, she became the first runner-up in the Lagos International Challenge 2018. Krishna Priya played in the Yonex Sunrise Bangladesh International Challenge 2018.
However, she was not able to make it past the quarter-finals. The ace shuttler claimed the runner-up in the Cote D’Ivoire International 2019. She bagged the bronze medal in the Egypt International 2019 losing against Poland’s Jordan Hart. The 24-year-old shuttler became the runner-up in the March 2021 Polish Open.
