He is an international badminton player from India, born on 30 December 1992 from Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh, and currently lives in Hyderabad. His training is also completed under the guidance of National coach Pullela Gopichand like Parupalli Kashyap. Sourabh was introduced to the field of badminton at a very young age in his life by his father, Sudhir Verma. He was bought by the Ahmedabad Smash Masters for an amount of 16 lacs rupees in the year of 2017 auctions for playing badminton in Badminton Premier League.

Sourabh won international titles continuously in 2013 and 2014, firstly won Tata International Challenge, which is held in Mumbai, where he defeated Prannoy Kumar and the next title in 2014 in Iran Fajr International Challenge where he defeats Alarie Guna Dharma.
