Birth & Early Life
Saina Nehwal is the daughter of Harvir Singh Nehwal and Usha Rani Nehwal was born on 17 March 1990 in Hisar. She has only one elder sister whose name is Chandranshu Nehwal. When her father was promoted and transferred from Haryana to Hyderabad, she took up badminton at the age of eight years to express herself in the field of badminton as she did not know the local language to familiar with the other students. Her parents were also badminton player and play badminton for a number of years. Her mother Usha Rani was also a state level badminton player in Haryana.

Career
Nehwal selects the under-19 national champion and creates her history by won the Asian Satellite Badminton tournament two times and become the first Indian female badminton player to do this in the year 2006. She won the Denmark Open after defeating Juliane Schenk in Germany on 21 October 2012, but in the final of the French Open tournament, she lost against Minatsu Mitani. After beat 3 most valuable players Chen Yufei, P.V. Sindhu, and Ratchanok Intanon she reached the final of the 2018 Indonesia Masters. Saina won the first BWF Super 500 title the Indonesia Masters against after defeat Carolina Marin in 2019.
