Career
Tahir started his career while first playing in T-20 International matches. He was selected in Scotland squad for T-20 International match against Pakistan in May, 2018. Tahir made his T-20 Debut against Pakistan on June 12, 2018 at Edinburgh, Scotland. After his International debut, he was selected in Scotland Wolves squad for List A match (2018-19 Oman Quadrangular Series) against Oman in February 2019.
Tahir made his List A debut against Oman on February 20, 2019. After 4-5 months, he was selected in Scotland squad for One Day International (ODI) match for 2019 Scotland Tri-Nation Series in July 2019. He made his ODI debut against Papua New Guinea on August 17, 2019. After that, Tahir was selected for 2019 ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup Qualifier tournament at United Arab Emirates in September 2019. Later on, he was selected for 2021 ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup in September 2021. In that tournament, Tahir played only 1 match and took 1 wicket.
