Radha Yadav is an Indian cricketer and a member of the Indian Women’s National cricket team. She is a right-hand batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler for the team. She is the first player from Gujarat’s domestic side to be selected in the Indian women’s cricket team.

Birth & Early Life
Radha Yadav was born on 21st April 2000 in Mumbai, India. Her family lives in a small house placed outside the society which was redeveloped under the Slum Redevelopment Area scheme. Radha began playing cricket in the society’s compound with boys. She was then encouraged by Coach Prafull Naik to train in the sport. When she was 13 years old, she was enrolled in Our Lady of Remedy.

Career
In the initial years, Radha played for Mumbai. She then moved to Baroda in 2014-15. In Baroda, she played in the U-19 West Zone tournament, Senior Women’s One-Day Tournament, Senior Women’s T20 tournament, and U-23 West Zone One-Day Tournament. Her performance won her spot in the India A team.
In 2018, at the age of 17, she was selected to the Indian Team for the tour of South Africa. She made her debut in Women’s Twenty20 International cricket on 13th February.
She also got scouted for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Tournament in the West Indies. In 2020, Radha got named in the India squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia. In the same year, she became the first T20 player of the Women’s T20 Challenge to take a five-wicket haul.
In 2021, Radha got selected for Indian Women’s One Day International for their series against South Africa. In 2021, she got called for India’s Test squad to play off-match against the England women’s cricket team.
