Kent Bazemore was born on July 1st, 1989 in North Carolina. He was born to Kenneth Bazemore and Glynis Bazemore. He studied in Bertie High school and completed a degree in Human Service and Criminal Justice at Old Dominic University. He played for the Old Dominic Monarch basketball team as a Shooting Guard. In 2008-09, Bazemore helped his team win the 20009 CollegeInsider.com Tournament. In his sophomore year, he was at the start of the lineup and was named CAA All-Defensive team in the Colonial Athletic Association regular season. He helped his team bag the rophy in the 2011 NCAA tournament. In the same year, he was named CAA Defensive player of the year and second-team All-Conference. He also received the Lefty Driesell Award, which was given to the nation’s top defensive player.

Career
In 2012, he got drafted to the 2012 NBA by the Golden State Warriors. He was a part of the Oklahoma City Thunders for the Orlando Summer League and Golden State Warriors for the Las Vegas Summer League. After signing his contract with the warriors he was assigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League. In 2013, he scored a season-high 14 points in a loss to the Chicago Bulls. He joined the Golden State for the 2013 NBA Summer League and was named Summer League All-Tournament Team Recipient.
In 2014 he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers and scored a career-high 23 points in a game against New Orleans Pelicans. In 2014, he signed a contract with the Atlanta Hawks. In the 2014-15 season, Bazemore scored a season-high 20 points in the game against Charlotte Hornets. In 2015, he set a new career-high of 28 points. In the 2016-17 season, Kent once again scored a season-high of 25 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the 2017-18 season, he made a career-high score of 32 points. In 2019, he was traded to Portland Trail Blazers and played 43 games in the 2019-20 season. In 2020, he was traded to Sacramento Kings but returned to Golden State Warriors in the same year.
