Born in Detroit, Michigan, Grace West was a 2021 graduate of Plymouth High School. Raised in Canton Township by her parents, Daryl and Jill Rembinski, along with her elder sister Abbey and younger brother DJ, Grace was determined not to let anyone stand in the way of her dreams. As an 11-year-old she was brave enough to enter Canton Idol and prove her teacher wrong. She wowed the crowd and her performance earned her the top spot.
Career
As she grew, Grace’s music career flourished – from singing the national anthem at her elementary school to singing it for the Toledo Mud Hens and Detroit Tigers.
During her teenage years, she frequently played gigs in Plymouth and Canton for several hours. As she explored playing music, she found that she had a knack for it and took up her grandfather’s guitar.
