K.S.Bharat’s full name is Kona Srikar Bharat and he was born on 3rd October 1993, in Visakhapatnam, India. Because of his restless nature, his parents enrolled him in a Local Cricket Association as a ball boy, and seeing players play at the association generated a passion for cricket in him.
By the time he turned 10, he already had deep roots in the sport. His coach Mr. J. Krishna Rao saw talent in him and started guiding him. Rao was the one who suggested Bharat become a wicket-keeper as he had strong reflexes.

Career
- Domestic career-
He is the first Indian wicket-keeper who scored a triple hundred in the Ranji trophy. This iconic match took place in February 2015. After one match of creating this historic moment, he was selected to play in IPL. Delhi Daredevils signed him for the base price of 10 lakh.
After three years that is 2018, he was selected for the Indian Blue team for playing Duleep trophy. After his spectacular performance, he was selected to play in the test squad. This match was played against Bangladesh. He covered for the injured player Wriddhiman Saha.
Subsequently, he was selected to play in one-day matches. This ODIs series was against Australia. This time also he replaced Rishabh Pant.
Starting the year 2021 he was selected as one of five standby players for the Test squad. This series was against England.
Srikar Bharat’s highest score in a test is 308. He has scored triple century in first class cricket.
In the month of February Bharat was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was selected for the base price of 10 lakh for this year’s IPL 2021.
