Saurabh Sunil Tiwary was born on 30 December, 1989 in Jamshedpur, Bihar, India. He started his career at an early age of eleven, he started playing in various formats for Jharkhand.
He never liked studying and solving questions, but when he was called to play cricket by his friends, he instantly became happy.

Career
- Domestic career-
Saurabh started playing cricket at the young age of eleven and represented Jharkhand in under 14 levels long before he made his first-class debut. In the year 2006-07 he made his first-class debut for Jharkhand.
His performance at his first-class debut turned the heads of spectators. He performed well in the initial days of his career. He was one of the main batsmen in the U-19 World Cup in 2008. The same year he scored three centuries, which grabbed him limelight. In 2014-15 Tiwary was one of the five run-getters in this season, as he performed significantly well.
Tiwary represented Mumbai Indians from 2008 to 2010, he helped the team reach final in the year 2010 with his spectacular performance. In 2011 he was roped in by Royal Challengers Bangalore till 2013. He again changed sides, and was bought by Rising Pune Supergiant in 2014. He was again selected by Mumbai Indians in 2017, and stayed there.
International career
Saurabh Tiwary made his ODI debut on 20 October 2010 at Vizag, against Australia. He failed to make a mark and was not selected for further seasons.
