Mandeep Singh was born on 18 December 1991, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. His father didn’t support him in playing cricket initially but seeing his passion for cricket and his incredible performances in matches he agreed to let him play.

Career
- Domestic career-
Mandeep Singh made his first-class debut for Punjab in 2011 against Himachal Pradesh and scored an unbeaten half-century in his first century. He played the main role in the Punjab Cricket team wins even before he turned 25. By 2015-16 season end he had scored exceptionally and had ten centuries in his account.
He bats in the middle order for the Punjab Cricket team and has scored more than five thousand runs.
He made his IPL debut for Kolkata knight riders in 2010 but didn’t perform well. He went to play for Kings XI Punjab, that season was also disappointing. He scored a lot of runs the next year and won the “rising star of tournament award”.
- International career
On 18 June 2016 against Zimbabwe, Mandeep didn’t perform well in his first T20I. He scored a half century in his second T20I, and India won in this match because of his performance. This was his last match; he wasn’t selected for further international matches.
