Birth and Early life
K.C carippa was born on 13 April 1994, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He started playing cricket at the age of seventeen years and was initially as a fast bowling all rounder. Later he changed to spin bowling.
Career
- Domestic career-
In 2014, Cariappa played for Karnataka Under-19 team and Bijapur bulls in Karnataka premier league.
He played marvelously and finished as third highest wicket taker which led to grabbing the attention of few IPL selectors.
In 2014, he played in Kolkata knight riders camp and the captain of Kolkata failed to read his style. Kolkata knight riders signed him in 2015 Indian premier league.
He was not selected by Kolkata knight riders the next year and was roped in by Kings XI Punjab. In 2019, Kolkata knight riders roped him again but dropped again in 2020. He was selected by Rajasthan Royals in this year’s auctions.
