Parupalli Kashyap is a professional Indian Badminton Player. His training is completed under the guidance of National Coach Pullela Gopichand and currently, he trains other students whose passion is playing badminton at the international level in the Gopichand Badminton Academy. Kashyap awarded by the Government of India in 2012 from Arjuna Award.

Birth & Early Life
He was born on 8 September 1986, to the family of Uday Shankar and Subhadra Shankar of Guntur. He is at the age of 11 Year and Kashyap was firstly enrolled in a training camp conducted by S. M. Arif in Hyderabad, India. His father has a continuous transferable job so their family moves from one place to another place frequently. Parupalli shows his first impact in Indian Badminton when he won the Gold medal in the Boys Singles tournament in the year 2005.

Career
In the National Junior, Open Badminton Championships Kashyap represented Andhra Pradesh and they won the Boy’s singles title in the year 2005 and from the next year 2006, he started to appear at international tournaments. He also reached the semi-finals in the year 2010 Indian Open Grand Prix Gold where he lost against Gurusai Datt. In the Summer Olympics which is held in the year 2012, Kashyap was surprised because he won all the matches at that time. Gold Medalist at the National Games and Canara Bank All India Senior Badminton Championship.
