Career
Karuna started her career as through a silent film The Bypass in 2003, starring alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Irfan Khan and Sundar Dan Detha. Later she turned to television industry and began portraying supporting roles in TV serial. She rose to fame after playing a prominent character Shaili Vimal Prasad in Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli. Consequently, she got opportunity to played lead roles in many popular TV shows including Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga, Kismat, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Shraddha and Bhaage Re Mann.
In 2022, she played Pushpa Patel, female lead role in SAB television’s comedy drama show Pushpa Impossible.
