Gabriella came to India in 2009 in search of modelling assignments and has worked worked with various brands. She returned to South Africa in 2011. Gabriella made her Telugu debut with the movie Oopiri in 2016. She came into limelight after winning the Miss Indian Premier League Bollywood in 2009.
Gabriella has also modelled for FHM several times and was the cover girl of a magazine in 2012 which helped her to gain popularity. She was rated #6 in FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World in 2010. She also launched “Deme”, a designer clothing label for women in 2012.
